Code of Conduct for International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP) Conference Participants
IATP is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all IATP Conference participants. Therefore, we expect all participants to adhere to the Code of Conduct below.
IATP values highly attendance of each conference participant. Our aim is to ensure a respectful and pleasant experience to all participants, regardless of age, gender, race, nationality, ethnicity, language, physical appearance, sexual orientation, disability, political opinion, religion or other status.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOUR
IATP expects all conference participants to:
- Be courteous, considerate and respectful towards all conference participants;
- Refrain from intimidating, harassing or discriminatory behavior and speech;
- Alert the conference staff immediately if they notice at the conference behavior that is in breach of this Code of Conduct.
UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR
Unacceptable behavior includes, but is not limited to:
- Intimidating, abusive, discriminatory or demeaning speech or behavior by any conference participant;
- Harassment (including offensive comments relating to gender, race, religion, disability, sexual orientation etc.);
- Personal insults;
- Violence or threats of violence directed against another person;
- Inappropriate photography or recording;
- Excessive alcohol consumption;
- Possession or use of any illegal substance;
- Smoking except in designated areas;
- Failure to obey the rules set out in this Code of Conduct and the rules or regulations of the place of the event.
CONSEQUENCES OF UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOUR
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated.
IATP encourages you to report any form of unacceptable behavior. If you are subjected to unacceptable behavior or notice that someone else is being subjected to unacceptable behavior, please inform IATP conference staff immediately. All reports will remain confidential.
The conference staff will provide assistance to any participant experiencing unacceptable behavior.
Any conference participant asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
If conference participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the IATP may take any action it deems appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund.
SCOPE OF APPLICATION
We expect all conference participants (staff, sponsors, speakers, attendees, volunteers and other guests) to abide by this Code of Conduct at all conference locations and at social events associated with it.
